Accommodation Services General Assistant

We provide the perfect home away from home with our staycation accommodation at Argyll Holidays ranging from luxury hot-tub lodges to cosy caravans and hotel rooms. ​Argyll Holidays are currently recruiting for seasonal Accommodation Assistants to join our team at Drimsynie Estate Holiday Village in the beautiful village of Lochgoilhead, Argyll. Working mainly on a Monday and Friday.

ROLES & RESPONSBILITIES

Clean accommodation and facilities, ensuring that a high standard of cleanliness is achieved and maintained throughout. General cleaning, sanitizing, mopping, and vacuuming of all areas.

Ensure all accommodation beds are made up with appropriate clean linen, presentation to Company standards.

Follow company procedure for left property.

Ensure inventory is correct and any missing or damaged inventory is reported to the Accommodation Service Supervisor. Assist in the accommodation deep clean program duties as required.

Carry out final accommodation self-check before releasing accommodation to Supervisor.

To have flexibility in where you are placed to work i.e. on units, communal areas, and laundry departments.

Use Company approved cleaning chemicals safely according to COSHH regulations and manufactures instructions.

This role requires bank holiday and weekend working

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not essential

Good attention to detail

Organised

Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised to appropriate timescales

Flexible and adaptable

Keen to learn and develop
