Bordered by the River Awe, there is so much to see and do at Loch Awe Holiday Park, making it the perfect choice for those wishing to explore the Highlands & Islands. The great fresh water lochs attract keen anglers, whilst walkers and cyclists can make the most of the beautiful scenery and breathtaking landscape. For skiers, the park is perfectly positioned for accessing the slopes of Glencoe mountain during the winter months.
Nearby attractions include Oban distillery, one of Scotland’s oldest sources of single malt Scotch whisky. The local restaurants serve up some of the freshest seafood in Scotland, so it’s easy to see why Oban is known as the ‘Seafood Capital of Scotland’.
Our accommodation includes cosy self-catering caravans, which are perfect for short breaks. Our luxury secluded lodges provide the ultimate escape with a private hot tub and all the essential mod-cons.
In the evening, guests can walk to the nearby Brander Lodge Bistro, where they can wind down and enjoy a homely meal with exclusive discounts to Argyll Holidays guests (simply flash your key). There’s also a Spar supermarket that is open seven days a week.
Loch Awe is the perfect destination for an activity filled, yet tranquil escape.

Location & Directions
Getting to Loch Awe Holiday Park couldn’t be easier and the scenic journey will create a memorable start to your holiday.
To make the most of what the area has to offer, we’d love our visitors to drive to Loch Awe Holiday Park. We’re positioned off the A85, just a short distance from the village of Taynuilt.
The journey from Glasgow takes between 2 and 3 hours, although you may be tempted to stop several times to admire the scenery.
In winter we do get snow, and it makes for unbelievable views. We aim to keep the roads well maintained and access is rarely hampered, but we do advise guests to consider winter tyres for travelling on local roads.
