Location & Directions
Getting to Hunters Quay couldn’t be easier. Less than two-hours (scenic) drive from Glasgow, your holiday starts as soon as you leave the city.
To make the most of what the area has to offer, we advise our visitors to drive to Hunters Quay. For those travelling by train, the park is a short bus ride from Dunoon. You can get to Dunoon via train and ferry from Glasgow in less than two hours. Ferries run daily all year round and are weather dependent, so we advise to check with your ferry operator before booking.
In winter we do get snow, and it makes for unbelievable views. We aim to keep the roads well maintained and access is rarely hampered, but we do advise guests to consider winter tyres for travelling on local roads.
