Go Cove

As part of our Go Cove activities, we're excited to bring you a series of bookable outdoor pursuits and adventures at Drimsynie Estate Holiday Park - Including Canoe with a View, Paddleboarding, Gorge walking and Climbing/Abseiling. 

Guests can expect briefing, kit allocation, travel to activity area, activity, travel back to base.

  • Canoe with a View - don your waterproofs and join us on a relaxing canoe journey taking in the sights and sounds of Loch Goil. Sightings of seals are common. A "dry" on-water session with an opportunity to get wet at the end for those that want to.
  • Climbing/Abseiling - take to the hills, gaining a bird's eye view of beautiful Loch Goil and her surrounding hills. Multiple climbing routes at each venue to suit all abilities and ages.
  • Paddleboarding - for those looking for a serene and scenic tour of the loch to those that want to get themselves and others in for a dook. 
  • Gorge Walking - get as wet as you want, from ankle-deep adventurers to full immersion funsters, scramble, slide and jump your way along one of our local gorges.

Meet Your Instructor

Introducing Scot McNab

The outdoor guru who’ll be running these sessions is Argyll Holidays’ own Scott McNab, who knows this part of the world like the back of his hand and will take you to all the most scenic spots – and get your adrenaline pumping too!

With the very best outdoor qualifications plus a wealth of experience and local knowledge - you’re in safe hands:

  • HND in Sports Coaching (Outdoor Sports) covering sailing, kayaking, canoeing, skiing, orienteering, and hill walking and a raft of activity-specific qualifications.
  • 4 years’ experience working as a multi-activity instructor for the Scout Association in Lochgoilhead.
  • Worked all over the UK and Europe as a guide in many activities. In 2020, he created West Coast Canyoning, an ICOPro affiliated Training Centre and provider delivering canyon-specific days out and training courses.
