Auchindrain Township Museum - near Drimsynie Estate

Auchindrain was the last of Scotland’s small mining Township’s to survive, and now remains an example of a settlement that was very important within Scotland’s history.  The Township Museum offers tours around the settlement, whilst the Visitor Centre contains a shop offering a wide range of books, local crafts and souvenirs. It also houses the Auchindrain Tearoom, open daily from April to October, serving fresh home-made baking, soup and snacks.

Benmore Botanic Gardens - near Stratheck 

In a magnificent mountainside setting on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll lies Benmore, an enchanting Garden steeped in history and surrounded by dramatic scenery.  Visitors can tour the fabulous surroundings from March until October.
