Small Acorns is back at Hunters Quay Holiday Village!  Taking place between 10am and 4pm today and Sunday the event returns for its 9th year.  Small Acorns celebrates the Scottish environment and this year also coincides with the Year of Natural Scotland.

There are a number of fantastic stalls including the Forestry Commission, exhibitions from the likes of Cowal Camera Club, great opportunities to learn more about Argyll wildlife with the Cowal Red Squirrel Group and the Bee Keeper's Association, as well as practical demonstrations including traditional Scottish wood lathe work.

There's also a great chance to interact and learn more about Police Scotland, The Coastguard and The Fire Brigade, who put on a spectacular demonstration.  Go Active sessions are also available throughout the weekend, and all leisure facilities are available as normal.

Rusty will be making appearances too, and even has a new friend!  Their name?  That's up to you!  We have a great competition for the kids to name the Cowal Red Squirrel Group's squirrel, with some great prizes to be won!

Hunters Bar & Grill is the perfect stop for some delicious food and refreshments during the weekend, or if you really want to kick back come and visit Quay Treatments.

This is a fantastic family weekend so come on down and visit us!  We'll see you soon!
