You are here

For those of you that didn’t already know, all year the Go Active team have held various events and activities to raise money for Children In Need. There was the Water Walkerz at the Royal Highland Show, the It’s a Knockout Tournament and this weekend we had Pyjama Party!

On Friday, the team came to work in their comfiest (and craziest pyjamas) and wore them all day long! Jackie wore a pink spotted onesie which looked fairly ridiculous, but plenty of people donated money for just how silly she looked; all for a good cause.

On Friday night, Jackie and Paige attended the pyjama party for holiday makers and holiday home owners alike. There were plenty of kids there with their jammies on too; everyone looked very relaxed and comfortable! After some dancing the games began!

Musical chairs was a hoot, with two very demanding 2 year olds refusing to let anyone else have their seats, and prizes were won for the best pyjamas too. The grown up’s had the chance to win a bottle of whiskey by literally throwing their money at it, and there was an epic dance-off between Go active and Rusty the Squirrel too. Needless to say Rusty won-there’s nobody can dance like that squirrel! There was also a raffle, with top prize being a free session on our new climbing wall There was something for everyone.

Then came time to raise even more money. Pay as You Go Karaoke was kicked off by Jackie and her cover of Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now (very ironic), and Paige had everyone going with a bit of Valerie. At a pound a song, it’d be rude not too join in!

The party went on into the night and everyone had a great time!

A total of £163.22 was raised on the night, and added to the rest of the funds from the year mounts up to an impressive amount. The final figure is still to be confirmed.

Thank you to all you generous people that have donated money over the year, it’s been a real Argyll Holidays community effort.
