It’s that time of year when you need to think about winterising your holiday home. If your holiday home isn’t prepared for winter you can run the risk of frost damage either inside or outside your holiday home. It’s best to be prepared to avoid any damage or costly repairs.
Check your insurance policy for their terms and conditions regarding frost damage over the winter period.
The hot & cold water systems must be drained down, water heaters need drain plugs removed and we advise that combi-boilers must have gas and power left on for their frost stats to operate properly. Antifreeze in central heating systems should be at a minimum of 25%. Shower mixer valves & toilet systems need protected.

If you would like our maintenance team to drain down your holiday home this can be arranged at a cost of £59 inc VAT - This also includes draining the caravan back up on an agreed date.
*Antifreeze check is free but any additional Antifreeze is chargeable.
