The Cormonachan Woodlands, situated on the west shore of Loch Goil halfway between Lochgoilhead and Carrick Castle, is in the Argyll Forest Park and the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. It’s the perfect destination to explore, for visitors of Drimsynie Estate Holiday Village!
The woodlands themselves are managed by a joint community project, which has seen major improvements over the past few months, including a brand new car park, tidying up land, and new planting of trees throughout the route.
You can follow the Red Squirrel trails to find Rusty.
Or you can build on to the Cairn.
Spot any wildlife? Record it on the whiteboard outside Jan’s Hideaway.
And enjoy the unique selection of colourful features throughout the trail.
The views over Loch Goil are simply breathtaking.
And there are no shortage of areas to explore.
