We thought we’d let you know what steps we’ve been taking to make sure your next Argyll Holiday is a safer stay
1 - Responsible Social Distancing
We have implemented social distancing guidance and ask all holidaymakers, owners, and staff to maintain a 2-metre distance from each other and to follow our one-way systems where appropriate - these will be signposted and marked.
2 - Contactless Check-in
Our reception areas will be operating a 'contactless check-in', with Perspex screens in place – This enables us to assist with social distancing and offers you peace of mind during the check-in process. When checking out you can simply deposit your key in the checkout key box at reception.
3 - Enhanced Cleaning Procedures
We are implementing new cleaning and sanitising procedures across our park to ensure an elevated standard of hygiene. Our employees are all fully prepared for these additional standards, which include fogging our self-catering accommodation between stays and filling up hand sanitiser points (located at key areas onsite).
4 - Wide Open Spaces
Our holiday parks are surrounded by an abundance of wide-open spaces, with acres of countryside and coastline. Go for a walk or cycle and take in the views, fresh air, blue skies, and stunning scenery, all whilst staying at a safe distance from others. Click here for some of our favourite local routes.
5 - Ease of Travel
Many of our holiday parks are just over an hour from Glasgow; closer than you may think. Ample onsite parking means that you can bring the car, enjoy the scenic drive, and don’t need to rely on public transport. Whilst on park, you can comfortably explore the local area on foot or bike.
6 - Self-Contained Accommodation
All our self-catering accommodation is self-contained, with spacing of at least 4 metres between holiday homes. This means that throughout your stay, you will be able to stay contained in your own household, just like at home. We’ll also be treating each unit with spray sanitiser prior to every arrival.
7 - Tasty Food & Drink
Our onsite restaurants and bars* look set to open alongside our accommodation on the 15th July, although there will be social distancing in place and less tables available, so waiting times may be a little longer. Alternatively, why not enjoy a delicious onsite takeaway option from DC’s or Quay by the Sea, in the comfort of your own holiday home?
8 – Onsite Facilities
Although some facilities may remain closed until the Government deem safe to open, there is still plenty to do onsite. In addition to our food & drink options, you can play a round of golf*, browse our sales showground, visit our onsite shop* stocked with all those essentials, and use our laundry facilities*. You can find the live status of our facilities and attractions here.
9 – Online Welcome Packs
As part of our new hygiene procedures, we have removed all non-essential items from our accommodation, including marketing materials. Your welcome pack is now available from here instead so that you can still access lots of helpful information about your holiday park and to help you plan your stay.
10 – The ‘Safer Stays’ Promise
Don’t just take our word for it - All of our holiday parks are committed to the Hoseasons Safer Stays initiative, offering peace of mind that your accommodation has been cleaned and sanitised to the highest standard. Read about it here and book in the confidence that your holiday will be clean & safe.
