We are delighted to welcome the Rollin’ Drones to the Wee G. Dubbed the “most exciting bagpipe pop band on the scene”, their three-piece setup will provide a unique signature sound for their high energy set, as they perform a range of bagpipe-infused covers, and singalongs to get the crowd moving.

Joining them will be the UK’s finest Paolo Nutini Tribute – Paolo Martini. Having soared to success on national radio, and playing shows of up to 20,000 people, Paolo’s biggest break came when he was asked to perform an event attended by Paolo Nutini’s own parents in Glasgow – receiving national acclaim. Paolo is no stranger to Lochgoilhead, and we can’t wait to welcome back one of our most requested artists!

He’s played the likes of T in the Park and Glastonbury, shared stages with the likes Oasis and The Fratellis, but now former Sergeant frontman Nick Mercer Jr has embarked on a solo project, which has been well received across the country.  Nick returns to Argyll, with a mixture of harmonies and singalongs, along with all the Sergeant favourites.

Having graced the main stage at Gig in the Goil, we’re thrilled to confirm that local favourites Ri Chéile will return to perform at the Wee G. The five-piece outfit will bring a traditional Scottish sound to the event, with a mixture of their own material as well as well-known singalongs.

Fresh on the back of their superb new single ‘Proper’, The Snuts also return to Lochgoilhead for the second time this year. After their anthemic performance at Gig in the Goil, the Whitburn indie-rockers have been in high demand, and we’re excited to welcome them back.

Livingston lads 5 Strings are one of the hottest young traditional acts on the scene. Combining contemporary rock music with accordion and bagpipes, they released their debut EP over the summer so expect to hear it live in Lochgoilhead.

No Argyll event is complete without a traditional West Coast offering, and we can’t wait to welcome The AJ Macinnes Ceilidh Band to The Wee G for our closing ceilidh.  Hailing from North Uist, AJ Macinnes – drummer for the highly-tipped Beinn Lee Ceilidh Band – brings his three-piece band to Lochgoilhead, where they will be performing all the well-known dances with good craic!

We’ve also got entertainment sorted for the wee ones, with everyone’s favourite squirrels – Rusty & Rosie – performing their famous show, plus our fantastic in-house entertainer Ajay will be doing a short set to kick-start the day.

Our Fireside Sessions also return for the Wee G.  Featuring the finest acoustic acts throughout the day in an intimate setting, we’re delighted to welcome Mark SharpMariyana & Ross Whelan back to Lochgoilhead, whilst Jack Snut will perform an acoustic set of Snuts favourites. The superb Robbie Hutton & Lewis Fergusson make their local debuts, and we can’t wait to showcase their material.

The Wee G will take place from 2pm on Saturday 26th November, with an exclusive event for Argyll Holidays Home Owners from midday. On top of the free entry live entertainment, there will be delicious food & drink offerings throughout the day.
