1. Go Active

Come rain or shine, there’s no excuse to avoid the fun at Argyll Holidays. From trying your hand at archery, to scaling the climbing wall or even experiencing the adrenaline rush of quad-biking, there’s lots to keep the whole family active this Easter.

2. Ready, Steady, Duck Race!

If you’re a regular to Drimsynie, you’ll be well aware of the quacking annual duck race held each Easter! For those of you not so familiar, the Drimsynie Duck Race takes place on the local river, overlooking Loch Goil. It’s super popular with everyone who gets involved, so why not head down on Easter Sunday and join in the fun? There’s even a coveted trophy for the winner!

3. Puppet Show

Our favourite puppet show returns to Argyll and we cannot wait! Talking Heads will appear not once, but TWICE at Drimsynie Estate, and TWICE at Hunters Quay too! Another massive hit with our guests, so if you’ve not been entertained by the Talking Heads puppet show before you’ll want to make sure it’s included in your Easter itinerary while visiting Argyll.

4. Experience a Loch Cruise

There’s something so tranquil about being on the loch, we cannot recommend this experience enough. Just 5 miles from Loch Lomond Holiday Park, and 14 miles from Drimsynie Estate Holiday Village, the Cruise Loch Lomond (located in Tarbet) enables you to really witness the sheer beauty surrounding us. What’s more, if you are an Argyll Holidays guest, you can receive upto 15% off your cruise booking.

5. Let Us Entertain You

In the (slightly paraphrased) words of Robbie: ‘come on, let us entertain you’! There’s a fantastic entertainment schedule lined up at Argyll Holidays over Easter, with regular cabaret nights, plus Neil Diamond, Elvis, Bublé & Blues Brothers Tribute nights. You can find more information on the activities page.

6. Explore the Surroundings

While visiting us, you’ll want to make sure you take full advantage of the spectacular destinations. With plenty of local routes for walking, cycling and exploring, the list is endless of ways to truly immerse yourself in the great outdoors, perfect for the whole family.

7. Become a Disney Princess!

Calling all Elsas and and Auroras, this one is for you! It’s time to dig out your princess outfits and join the extremely popular Disney Princess ‘Dionne’. She returns to Drimsynie Estate and Hunters Quay ready to host the perfect Disney Singalong. Pop on your tiaras and head over… but get here early, it’s bound to be a busy one!

Speaking of children’s entertainment, we also have a great Rusty’s Easter Fun Pack with things to make, colour and do, all ready for you to print off and hand over to your kids.

8. Have a Fyne Day Out

Loch Fyne is just a short drive from all Argyll Holidays destinations, and offers a wide variety of attractions, perfect for families. Relive the history of this fantastic location in Inveraray Jail & Castle, tour the Fyne Ales Micro Brewery or stop off for a spot of lunch at the award-winning Loch Fyne Oysters. Many attractions offer a discount to Argyll holidays guests, want to know more? Head over to our partners page for more information.

9. Scale the Treetops

Brand new to Loch Lomond, Treezone offers an adrenaline rush from the treetops overlooking our ‘Bonnie Banks’. Featuring zip wires, balance beams and tight ropes, this is truly an unforgettable family experience you have to try! More good news; Argyll Holiday guests get 10% off their visit to TreeZone, so you can try out a new experience for less!

10. Indulge in a Hot Tub Escape

Let’s face it, we’re pretty famous for our Hot Tub breaks! Picture this; relaxing in your very own private hot tub, watching the world go by, or even gazing at the stars above on a clear night, glass of bubbly in hand. Can you see yourself here? We thought so. Every now and again we all deserve that little injection of luxury into our lives, and there’s no time like the present to treat yourself.
