Sleep Over at the Sea Life Centre

Argyll Holidays Active Family partner – the Sea Life Centre at Loch Lomond - is offering people the chance to sleep under the ocean, surrounded by sharks.

The unique adventure returns soon, allowing families to set up camp under the ocean tunnel, next to the bay of ray fish, alongside the clown fish kingdom tank or at the side of the popular otter enclosure.

Kathryn Angel, General Manager at SEA LIFE Loch Lomond says:

“We started hosting sleepovers in 2011 and they have become extremely popular with educational groups such as scouts and brownies. We host sleepovers most Friday & Saturday nights throughout the year and many of our groups come back year on year and they tell us that it’s the highlight of their event calendar.

“We love giving children and adults the chance to experience sleeping under the ocean. We also have a 300 seater cinema so the children can watch a film in the evening before settling down for the night.

“Most of our groups tend to be between 20-50 people but we have had giant sleepovers before – with the group sleeping throughout the entire aquarium from our bay of rays to the side of the otter enclosure and from the ocean tunnel to the clownfish kingdom tank – it really is a fin-tastic experience!”
