Meet the Reindeer at our Christmas Market

We're pleased to reveal that Drimsynie’s Christmas Market will return by popular demand on Sunday 9th December, where we’ll welcome a host of local arts & craft stalls, hot food, mulled wine & cider & so much more to Drimsynie Estate Hotel for a truly festive experience.

Not only that, but we'll be joined by a flock of Reindeer - It's a magical opportunity to meet Santa's helpers after they travel all the way from Lapland to the shores of Loch Goil.

Join us in Hunters Quay Entertainment Lounge and enjoy screenings of your festive favourites. Elf & Home Alone will both be shown on the big screens on Christmas Eve, with tasty snacks available – what better way to get in to the festive spirit.

Santa's Grotto

Visit Santa’s Grotto

Santa will be returning to Hunters Quay across the month of December, whenever it fits his busy schedule! Located in Rusty’s Fun House, the £5 Grotto admission also includes a small gift, and access to soft play.

Both Drimsynie Estate & Hunters Quay have got a fantastic line-up of live entertainment throughout December and across the festive period. Live music, carol singing, karaoke & family game shows are all part of the evening entertainment, with some of the country’s best tribute acts also coming to Argyll, including Freddie Mercury, Blues Brothers & Meatloaf.

Activities & Fun

There's an extensive festive programme, with activities including archery, crazy carts, climbing wall and our Bucking Bronco, which will be running daily at Hunters Quay (21st-31st December, excluding Christmas Day).

In addition, we’ll be offering a range of children’s workshops – These include making ‘Santa Stop Here’ Signs, card making workshops a as well as sand art and candle making.

At Hunters Quay, we’ve even got our very own Go-Athlon – Experience the adrenaline rush from Go Climb, Aeroball & BobyZorbs for just £10 per person. (age restrictions apply)

Our fabulous bars & restaurants are open every day throughout the festive period, so you can dine out just minutes from your accommodation and enjoy fresh local produce, craft beers and tasty cocktails. Christmas lunch is available at Drimsynie Estate & Hunters Quay - Our experienced chefs will be cooking up all your festival favourites, but they’re filling up quickly so best book in advance.
