Our boutique music festival, Gig in the Goil have unveiled the latest acts to be added to the line-up for this year’s event which runs from 5-7 May.

Some of Scotland’s hottest rising stars will be heading to the shores of Loch Goil for the festival including; Dundee’s Be Charlotte, one of the most exciting new acts in UK right now, Schnarff Schnarff from Glasgow with their staccato grunge pop and the vocal talents of Bathgate-born Lewis Capaldi. There will also be intimate sets from 100 FablesCalum Frame and The Calm Fiasco

We also complete our Main Stage billing with North-Uist duo James Stewart & AJ Macinnes – from the highly tipped Beinn Lee Ceilidh Band, and festival circuit favourite James Edwyn & the Borrowed Band.  We've also launched their Next Big Thing competition, offering an upcoming band or artist the unique opportunity to open the main stage at the event.

This year’s event is set to be bigger and better than last year’s inaugural event with acts including SkerryvoreTide Lines and Trail West already lined up to appear.

The event will take place across various venues throughout the weekend, against the backdrop of Argyll’s stunning, idyllic countryside. The main stage will be located at the popular Drimsynie House Hotel and smaller acoustic style performances will feature in the 'Castle Lounge' within the hotel.

Tickets start from just £30 for adults + £11.50 for children (full weekend), with under 10s going free. Exclusive ticket discounts will be given to those booking accommodation for over the weekend. Tickets from ticketweb.co.uk and local outlets.
