A total of £6.5million has been invested in the new hotel over the last three years, and the new development doubles the size of the existing hotel.

The directors from Argyll Holidays said: “We are constantly looking at ways that we can improve what we’re doing for our guests and owners and we’re confident that the investment that we’ve made in the new hotel, from the rooms to the event and dining spaces will be well received.  An ideal destination for a romantic break, family holiday, wedding or even large business conferences, we’ve designed the hotel to cater to all needs, and we hope that the hotel will add to the already thriving tourism industry in the area.”

Boasting 19 rooms, including generous family accommodation and well thought out accessible facilities, the hotel is the perfect escape for families or couples looking to enjoy the best of what Scotland has to offer. Situated on the picturesque banks of Loch Goil, the hotel has been thoughtfully designed around the breath-taking scenery on its doorstep, with guests able to enjoy panoramic views of Argyll Forest all year round.

With floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water, the aptly named ‘The View’ restaurant serves up a host of comforting classics and family favourites, with the outdoor terrace - ‘The Lookout’ - perfect for alfresco dining in the summer months. With a separate area for intimate dining and private parties, to a fun, family dining room complete with a nautical boat and jetty seating area, The View caters to the needs of all holiday makers.

The hotel is also home to The Sequoia Spa & Gym, meaning that an idyllic spa break outside of the city centre couldn’t be easier. The stunning Sequoia Spa is the epitome of tranquillity, and features three treatment rooms and a relaxation room, with sumptuous robes and slippers available for guests. Argyll Holidays has partnered with aromatherapy skincare experts Decléor to offer a range of treatments, from prescriptive facials for all skin types to indulgent full body massages.

A purpose-built destination for conferencing, weddings and events, the Drimsynie Estate Hotel also provides an exceptional space for small, private meetings to large conferences and events for upto 150 delegates. While the hotel might be deep in the heart of the Argyll Forest, the state of the art technology is second to none, with each conference suite complete with plasma screens, wall-mounted projectors and internal speaker systems.
