Breath-taking Location

Lochgoilhead is arguably one of the most scenic locations in the country, and the perfect setting for a weekend of live music, food and drink.  All three festival venues are set in the unmistakable backdrop of the Arrochar Alps, directly overlooking Loch Goil.  Plus, there’s plenty of open space to immerse yourself in the stunning scenery, with a cold drink in hand.

First-class Live Music

With 38 live acts over the weekend, and a rich variety of music, there’s something for everyone.  The ‘Main Stage’ at Drimsynie House Hotel welcomes the highly tipped Gerry Cinnamon, ex-Skipinnish members Robert Robertson & Ross Wilson and Glasgow’s Medicine Men amongst others. Located at The Goil Inn, the ‘Village Stage’ will showcase upcoming acts in a stunning location overlooking Loch Goil, whilst the cosy Fireside Bar will host ‘Fireside Sessions’, with the best solo artists from around Scotland performing in an intimate setting.

Friendly Locals

Well yes, there’s a vibrant community atmosphere in Lochgoilhead – but it’s not just about the people!  The local wildlife are very welcoming too – from the gorgeous ‘Heilan Coos’, to the little lambs bouncing about the countryside, along with roe deer, birds and foxes.  You might even spot our red squirrel friend Rusty!

A Host of Activities

The onsite Go Active programme at Drimsynie Estate offers a huge range of activities for all ages, from Archery & Fencing to Crazy Carts & WaterWalkerz.  There’s also full Leisure & Spa facilities with Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam, Jacuzzi & Treatments. On top of this, you can enjoy a spot of Pétanque or Crazy Golf, or a round of golf on one of the most scenic 9-hole courses in the country - you won’t be short of things to do in Lochgoilhead.

The Great Outdoors

Here in Argyll, we really are spoilt for choice when it comes to discovering the great outdoors, with multiple forestry tracks and paths in the surrounding area, plus bike hire available.  No matter what the weather, there’s ample opportunity to explore caves, waterfalls, cliffs and rivers – whether you’re the outdoor type or not, it’s simply incredible.

Luxury Hot Tubs

Situated overlooking Loch Goil, Drimsynie Estate, is famous for Hot Tub breaks.  Imagine relaxing in your own private hot tub after a busy day, embracing the stunning scenery and watching the world pass by – whilst your luxury lodge is waiting right behind you.  There’s a range of Hot Tub units available, from secluded cottages, to platinum lodges, packed with all the mod-cons!
