Walking near Loch Lomond

With acres of countryside and coastline to explore, Loch Lomond is the perfect location for a walking break.

If you’re staying with us at Loch Lomond Holiday Park then we recommend Ben Vorlich (via Loch Sloy) as a great day’s hiking; you can set off from just round the corner from the park, at Inveruglas visitor centre.

Conic Hill is a shorter and more gentle hike – perfect if you’re with wee ones. Keep your eyes peeled for hen harriers and buzzards!

Then, of course, there’s Ben Lomond – a very popular munro and not too demanding, offering amazing views from the top of Loch Lomond and the islands within it.

More experienced hikers seeking a more challenging ascent may want to tackle Ben More instead, the tallest of Loch Lomond’s 21 munros.
