Fishing near Loch Awe
A stay at Loch Awe Holiday Park gives you easy access to superb fishing opportunities - chiefly, right at Loch Awe itself. Choose yourself and a great sport amongst the secluded islands and bays, and look out for spectacular views over the famous Kilchurn Castle.
LOCH AWE (March-October)
Loch Awe is famous for its wild brown trout - in fact, the British record for the largest rod-caught record has been broken at Loch Awe four times over the last decade. However, it's the reliable volume of good 'pan-sized' trout that's the main attraction for anglers of all abilities. As well as brown trout, there are also ferox trout, rainbow trout, salmon, sea trout, arctic char, pike and perch up for grabs.
From March to October, its 24-mile shoreline offers up an abundance of fish, which makes it popular with novices and old-hands alike.
Coarse fishing is year-round, whilst game fishing runs from 15th March to 6th October.

Here you can also hire rowing boats, motorboats and canoes.
